The BID SHEET
  • is Pittsburgh's first & only complete publication of bids
    & contract notices for Small, Minority & Women
    Business Owners in the building, construction,
    professional and service industries.
  • developed in response to the needs of Small Businesses
    to help them gain access to bids and contracting
    opportunities in a clear and concise format.
The Mission
  • is to provide Minority and Women Business Enterprises
    (M/WBE’s) with information on the opportunities
    available from Prime construction contractors and
    other major providers to building and construction
    contracts.  The BID SHEET specifically lists bids only in
    the building construction, professional and service
    industries so M/WBE's can bid on and successfully
    complete projects to which they may otherwise not
    have access.
The Objective
  • is to create more work in the Pittsburgh area by
    becoming the premier source of local bids and contract
    notifications


This is achieved with three strategically focused goals:
1 - Educating Small, Minority and Women Business
    Enterprises (M/WBE’s) about bids and contract
    notifications that are made available.
2 - Making opportunities available in an easy to
    access format.
3 - Helping to build a central forum to allow Small
    Businesses, Prime construction contractors and
    government agencies to connect for
    MORE CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES.
